At the Boathouse Retreat you have 3 bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths with a pull out couch to comfortably sleep 8.
How do you describe a vacation property that is indescribable? I don't think I will be able to do this piece of paradise justice but I will try... It's Heaven. It's one of a kind. From the moment you turn off the main road you start to relax, driving down a dirt road that twists and turns, and with every bend in the road you're surprised by winding creeks with oak trees hovered over the water and marsh grass everywhere. At the end of this scenic route, you're greeted with this beautiful vacation home on stilts that has a creek running up alongside the property and then the Steinhatchee River as the show stopper that lets you know you have arrived! This house has a double staircase leading to the front door and as you enter you will notice how airy and bright it is! This 3 bedroom/2 ½ bath beauty has everything you will ever need to enjoy your vacation in lovely Steinhatchee (pronounced Steenhatchee) is ready to make memories with your loved ones that will last a lifetime.
You can sit on the front porch and stay awhile while watching the boaters go by....or you can marvel in the fact that you are one of two houses with a view of the Steinhatchee Landing from the other side of the river! After you get tired of relaxing at your dream vacation home you can head down to the dock for and take out 1 of the 4 kayaks provided to you, or a cookout if you desire. There is also a pontoon boat that will be available in the near future for additional rental for a cruise up river at sunset or head out scalloping and not even have to mess with the crowds. This is a once in a lifetime vacation property that you will want to come back to every year….

5/5 Stars - We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the last scalloping of the season. House was in a great location, so much to do. Only wish we had more time to use the kayaks, bikes and fish a little more…you won’t regret your stay!

- Beach house Retreat

- Beautiful property
5/5 Stars - The property was exactly as described! The house was wonderful and the dock was perfect for us! We also used the kayaks and the kids really loved that part! The house really did have everything we could have needed! The owners went above and beyond with their communication and the attentiveness to detail. We definitely felt welcomed! Will definitely be staying again!!
